Vacaville, California is a city located in the northeastern portion of the San Francisco Bay Area in Solano County. The city is nearly half way between Sacramento and San Francisco on I-80. It sits approximately 35 miles (56 km) from Sacramento, and 45 miles (72 km) from San Francisco. As of the 2010 census, the city had a population of 92,428.
The city was founded in 1850 by William McDaniel, on a part of the 1843 Mexican land grant Rancho Los Putos purchased from Manuel Cabeza Vaca.
The city was a Pony Express stop and was home to many large produce companies and local farms which flourished due to the Vaca Valley's rich soil, including The Nut Tree.

Location: Vaca Valley Bingo Center, 190 Bella Vista Road, Vacaville
Bingo funds 99% of the band program. For Bingo to be successful each session needs 40 volunteers, in various positions. These volunteers are Parents/Guardians, Family Members and Friends.
* If you are new to bingo and not sure what to sign up for, start with Flash Sales.
* Totrain for a position come in and shadow someone who is doing the job.
* If you must cancel your shift please call at least 24 hours before your shift.
It is our goal to have each session scheduled and complete 2 weeks ahead of time, so that we can contact Non-Scarlet Brigade volunteers, for any positions that need to be filled, in a timely manner. Please remember that any position we have to fill with Non-Scarlet Brigade Volunteers result in less funds going to the Scarlet Brigade.

1. The hall has a strict policy that volunteers are not allowed to wear open toed shoes for safety reasons.
2. Scarlet Brigade Volunteers have first choice over ALL positions listed. If you would like to work a position that is at least 1 week away, and a Non-Scarlet Brigade Volunteers (* after the name) is listed in the spot, leave a message by clicking the 'Contact' below. Indicate the date and position and we will take care of signing you up. Non-Scarlet Brigade Volunteers are those who have expressed an interest in filling a position if it is vacant.
